Clarification on New International Missions Giving

12/04/2009
Click this paragraphy for a note from the pastor to help clarify the changes in the system of giving for the International Missions Department.

A Note from the Pastor:

There seems to be some confusion about designated giving because of the new giving system of the International Missions Department.  I would like to address this once again and try to bring some clarity.

International Missions

If you currently give designated money to the Gibbs, Lytle, LIttle, or others, you are asked to continue to designate that money, but now to the Global Evangelism Fund, which supports all missionaries.  As a church, we will be giving to the McDonald, Malone, and Global Evangelism Fund through our General Fund.

Home Missions

If you currently give designated money to the Crabtree, Osborn, Thomas, Park, Fannin, or others, you are asked to please continue to give in this designated fasion.  Nothing has changed with Home Missions.

Berea Ministries

If you currently give designated money to Berea Ministries, you are asked to please continue to give in this fashion.  Berea supports ministries in Mexico and Latin America.  No Hispanic personnel (legal or illegal) in the United States are supported by Berea Ministries.  Nothing has changed with Berea Ministries.

Sexton Medical Fund

If you currently give designated money to the Sexton Medical Fund, please continue to do so.  Nothing has changed with Sexton Medical Fund.

Free Will Baptist Bible College

If you currently give designated money to the Free Will Baptist Bible College, please continue to do so.  Nothing has changed with Free WIll Baptist Bible College.
